EU Ecolabel
The globally renowned EU Ecolabel was established in 1992 and is recognized as a label of environmental excellence. The label is awarded to products and services that meet high environmental standards throughout their life-cycle. The EU Ecolabel promotes a sustainable economy by encouraging manufacturers to reduce waste and carbon dioxide emissions during the manufacturing process. It also encourages companies to develop products that are durable, easy to repair, and recyclable.At Durabond, we care about the environment and the future of our society.We aim to launch more products that meet the high EU Ecolabel environmental standard.
NSF
NSF International is an American product testing, inspection, and certification organization formerly known as the National Sanitation Foundation. It follows the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards development process. It is a non-profit organization that provides public health and safety risk management solutions, including standards development and product certification.
At Durabond, we recognize lubricants from food-processing equipment can accidentally come into contact with food during the manufacturing process. We offer specific grades approved under the FDA 21 CFR §178.3570 – Lubricants with incidental food contact and/ or have NSF registration as an ingredient for use in lubricants with incidental food contact (HX-1). Durabond offers a variety of NSF approved products with excellent oxidation stability for high-temperature applications.
REACH
Durabond products are Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) compliant. REACH is an EU chemical regulation that aims to improve the protection of human health and environment through registration, evaluation, authorization, chemical restrictions. It also includes chemical hazard assessments.
As a lubricant producer and seller, Durabond values the importance of the health and safety of the people using our products and the impact from chemicals contained in it. To ensure the safety of our products, we are actively implementing REACH in our production process, and with our suppliers.
